YOUR CHOICE OF HEARING AIDS
Behind-the-ear (BTE) – traditionally the largest in size and often the best for users who require the most power. The hearing aid technology is contained in a durable case which sits behind the outer ear and sounds are transmitted via a small tube attached to the dome or ear mould.

Receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) – similar to BTE however, the speaker sits inside the ear. Traditionally, smaller, lighter and more discreet than a BTE but not necessarily suitable for a profound hearing loss.

In-the-ear (ITE) – sitting inside the ear and come in a variety of sub-styles, from the more large and powerful Full Shell to the smaller (Completely-In-Canal) and the virtually invisible IIC (Invisible-In-Canal).

Again, the type of hearing loss you have, coupled with the lifestyle you lead and your preferences, will determine the type of hearing aid we will recommend at your appointment.
